hello there

I've finally decided to join the blogging world and will kick it off with a Valentine's Day giveaway! Hooooraay!

At last summer's Craftacular, this copy of Sommerset Life was included in their famous goody bags. Inside, were several treasures from Becky Shander that I simply adored - among them, these Vintage Tart Tin Pin Keeps! (Aren't they darling??!) I decided that I wanted to make one for myself but while thrift shopping, I came across about thirty sweet little tart tins and then piles of doilies that needed to be rescued! How could I pass them up? (Doilies have been a serious crush of mine for a little while now but more on my crush another time - promise!). I was thrilled and on the way home started thinking of all the possibilities and ended with this:

*love*
I'm not sure that the tart tins I found are vintage, but most of the buttons are and everything is reclaimed!

I now have my very own set (I couldn't choose just one!) and some were given away as gifts but there were still a few left... So, I worked up the nerve to email Becky to ask her if I could share her idea with you all and have a giveaway, thankfully, she graciously agreed, and here we are.
These will also be available at an upcoming Gallery Walk on February 5th where I will be hanging out with one of my favorite crafty ladies at her shop, dainty daisies, in Oshkosh. (So excited!!)

On to the details! :

For one lucky reader, two Tart Tin Pin Keeps! One to keep and a sweet gift for a friend for Valentine's Day.

The many ways to enter:
1) First, tell us your favorite part of Valentine's Day!!

2) Follow the blog, be a fan on Facebook, and/or follow us on Twitter.
**Be sure to post a comment for each so the entry will count**

3) Invite your pals by sharing a link to this post on Facebook, Twitter, your blog... (you get the idea) **Again, be sure to post a comment for each time you share the link for your entry to count**

The winner will be selected on February 4th to be sure they arrive in plenty of time to be shared for Valentine's Day - if you can part with one, that is!!

Best of luck!

  6. Hi, nice to meet you! :) They're pretty! I hope I win. As for my favorite part of Valentine's Day, well, to tell you the truth, here in Argentina nobody celebrates it BUT I did spend one two years ago, My fiance came to Buenos Aires (he is from and lives in California) in February, so we celebrated it with yummy salami sandwiches and chapagne, hehe. It was cool! I'm moving to the States next week, so we'll spend another Valentine's Day :D. So, I guess, my favorite part of it is just to get to spend it with the man I love and have a nice dinner alone.

    Have a good day!

    Miki.
